In a statement released by Depeche Mode, the show today in Minsk has been cancelled due to band member illness. While it's easy to drown in speculation, be patient and let's wait to hear if the illness will affect any other shows. Depeche Mode and Dave Gahan collaborator, Kurt Uenala, will be releasing a full length album under his Null + Void alias soon called "Cryosleep". That in itself is exciting, but if you add the fact that the album will see guest vocals from Dave Gahan... then we have even more to be excited about! We've been hearing some rumors about this one for a while now, but it looks like Sony has officially announced that "The Best Of Depeche Mode Volume 1" will see a vinyl reissue this August. It will be reissued as a beautiful limited edition 3 LP vinyl package that will hit the streets on August 25th! Mute released a limited run of these on vinyl back in 2007, but it's hard to get your hands on a copy and this will be a nice edition for fans who missed out. It's still slightly annoying that there's not a track from Black Celebration on there, but I guess you have to save a song like "Stripped" if you want...

Timothy Saccenti has taken over the bands official Facebook page as part of the Fan Takeover today and he shared his video of the band performing "Going Backwards" live at the Highline Stages in New York back on on August 3rd, 2016. Two videos were made. Kris Van Assche has been at Dior for 10 years now and to celebrate the occasion he is running a new ad campaign that includes Dave Gahan of Depeche Mode! He joined up with British photographer, David Sims, to shoot the images that include not only Dave, but also Lucas Hedges who is an up and coming actor (Manchester By The Sea), and models Dylan Roques and Christophe ‘t Kint with goal of, “Spanning generations and disciplines, they plot an evolution of style that subverts the classicism of Dior Homme today.”
