A Night Devoted is simply a Northern California area meet up of Depeche Mode Devotees that is taking place in San Francisco. I hope you'll join us for an evening of music, drinks, and friends new or old. If you're like me and loved Owlle's remix of Heaven, then I think you'll love her cover of "Enjoy The Silence" that she just uploaded to her Soundcloud page. Her take is a stripped down piano version that reminds me more of the original demo or Harmonium version. This was recorded live and features Richard Lornac on piano. A few tweaks here and there, but a very beautiful take on the song. While her remix of Heaven was a full electronic piece, her cover is very minimal with her powerful, but restrained, vocal that really is just a wonderful listen. Check it out for yourself!

12 years ago today the world lost the genius that is Frank Tovey. I logged into Facebook this morning and was thrilled to see a photo album of Frank that Mute Records had posted up on their page. Add to that a playlist on Spotify as well! We all know the story of Depeche, Fad Gadget, Mute etc.. so I won't bore you with that, but I highly recommend checking out the photo album if you're a fan. The tour has ended and the numbers are in. For those of you curious, here are the results of The Delta Machine Tour according to Billboard. What an amazing album and tour and we're glad to see that people went out and supported the band as they hit the road to support Delta Machine.
