A site called blogbelieve.com has posted up some scans of the latest Mojo magazine with a great interview with Martin L. Gore and other Depeche Mode and Mute Records related items. This is the issue that comes with the free CD, ”A Brief History Of Future Sound”, that Daniel Miller has put together. The official video for Recoil’s cover of Talk Talk’s “Inheritance” for the ‘Spirit of Talk Talk’ tribute album is out! Recoil’s take on “‘Inheritance’” features Linton Kwesi Johnson and Paul Marshall on vocals and the song was originally released on Talk Talk’s classic “Spirit Of Eden” record. The video was shot in Moscow and directed & edited by Recoil collaborator Dmitry Semenov. The 4th trailer to promote "Ssss" from VCMG is up and continues to be as bizarre as it is immensely fascinating as the previous trailers. It was posted up today on the Mute YouTube channel. If you're on there, be sure to follow them for all things Mute Records. Lots of good stuff, we highly recommend! I hope these videos will have some influence on the forthcoming Depeche Mode imagery. August 20th is a great date as it has two Depeche Mode related singles coming out for everyone to get their hands on. First up we'll see the third single from VCMG, "Aftermaths", finally see it's release as well as the brooding "Take Me Back Home" from Soulsavers featuring Dave Gahan. Not that I need to remind you of their collaboration, but it might be news to some folks out there in the Universe.
