Dave Gahan Featured on Martyn LeNoble & Christian Eigner’s Benefit Cover Single of David Bowie’s ‘Cat People (Putting Out Fire)’ [edit: full track now streaming]

Martyn LeNoble and Christian Eigner announced the upcoming August 2nd release of a benefit single, covering David Bowie's 'Cat People (Putting Out Fire)'.  The single will feature Depeche Mode's Dave Gahan and Mark Lanegan, best known for his work with Screaming Trees and Queens of the Stone Age.  Proceeds from the single will be donated to the American Liver Foundation. Martyn LeNoble and Christian Eigner's Bandcamp page now has the full track for streaming and purchase as a lossless .WAV, FLAC and MP3 file. SixToes ‘Low Guns’ limited edition 7″ out 01.09.16

In some exciting new release news, or more accurately.. re-release news, the amazing "Low Guns" single from Six Toes featuring Dave Gahan will be released on a very limeted 7" vinyl single that will be out 01.09.16 via Aby Sho Music. Yes, there was a limited cassette single when it was originally released in 2014, but this will be the first time it's available on vinyl with a previously unreleased versions of the song that was edited specifically for this version of the single. Dave Gahan featured in a new ‘The Damned’ documentary

Last year in March, at the annual SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, a documentary about '70s band The Damned was shown, called "The Damned: Don't You Wish That We Were Dead". One year later, the documentary started being shown at selected movie theaters throughout the world, and yesterday on May 20th it came out on DVD/BluRay in the USA. The documentary contains old and new interview footage of not only the band, but also of other artists on whom The Damned has had an impact.
