Dave Gahan guest vocals on forthcoming Null + Void album

Depeche Mode and Dave Gahan collaborator, Kurt Uenala, will be releasing a full length album under his Null + Void alias soon called "Cryosleep". That in itself is exciting, but if you add the fact that the album will  see guest vocals from Dave Gahan... then we have even more to be excited about! While we don't have the release info for the record just yet, we're excited to see Dave to be apart of the record and wanted to share the news. Best Of Vol. 1 vinyl reissue out August 25th!

We've been hearing some rumors about this one for a while now, but it looks like Sony has officially announced that "The Best Of Depeche Mode Volume 1" will see a vinyl reissue this August. It will be reissued as a beautiful limited edition 3 LP vinyl package that will hit the streets on August 25th! Mute released a limited run of these on vinyl back in 2007, but it's hard to get your hands on a copy and this will be a nice edition for fans who missed out. It's still slightly annoying that there's not a track from Black Celebration on there, but I guess you have to save a song like "Stripped" if you want...

Depeche Mode tops Billboard’s Hot Tours list at more than twice the second entry on the list

Billboard magazine published its list of Hot Tours, and Depeche Mode's Global Spirit Tour has topped the list with $46.5 million USD in revenue from more than 600,000 tickets sold for their first 17 venues of the tour, through the two-night stand in Hannover, Germany. The tally more than doubles the revenue tally for the next entry on the list, Ed Sheeran, with 12 venues. Depeche Mode embarked on their world tour in May, following a series of promotional appearances and performances in the spring. Going Backwards Highline Sessions Video

Timothy Saccenti has taken over the bands official Facebook page as part of the Fan Takeover today and he shared his video of the band performing "Going Backwards" live at the Highline Stages in New York back on on August 3rd, 2016. Two videos were made. A standard version and a 360 version which he describes, "We’ve been working on this piece for a while, a 360 video of one of my favorite tracks from the “Spirit” album, “Going Backwards”, filmed live at the highline stages in New York City, hope you like it as much as we do."
