Live Nation has put together a great promo video to promote the Delta Machine Tour. Besides shots of the band playing live, it has some great clips of fans praising the band. Some fans seeing them again, some expressing how excited they are seeing Depeche for the first time. Fans describing them as everything from "the forefathers of electronica" to "there's only one Dave!". It's a short clip, but well worth your time. See it after the jump!
Read more...The North American leg of the Delta Machine Tour kicks off tonight in Detroit and what better way to get things going then for the band to release the world premiere of the "Should Be Higher" video! A live version of the song with possibly one of the best backing screen videos ever. Just amazing! Read more...Billboard.com has posted up their Tops Hot Tours Chart and Depeche Mode leads this week's list with, according to them, more than $60.8 million in ticket sales from the Delta Machine Tour so far. No idea how they got that number, but that is what they are reporting. Other artists included this week are Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, and Pink. While this isn't particularly the biggest piece of news, it's great to see articles like this showing the bands drawing power. Fantastic album and tour so far.. with a lot more to go!
