The Recoil fans in North and South America have a lot to cheer for as Alan Wilder has announced Recoil live dates through The US, Canada, and South America! After a successful tour through Europe, Recoil is ready to hit the road again. More dates and cities will be added soon on this leg of the tour.
Alan, along with Paul Kendall, are planning a few changes to the live set with some new films as well. Architect will be supporting and Conjure One will be playing on few dates too. Depeche Mode's recent tour was committed to the digital equivalent of celluloid back in November of last year, when the band visited Barcelona's Palau Sant Jordi for two shows. The filming was directed by Russell Thomas, who has helmed shoots for a wide range of big names in music - from U2, Coldplay, Muse to Kylie Minogue, Beyonce and the likes. Russell is well known for making whatever is in front of his lenses look gorgeous, so we're in for a visual treat. Check out his showreel (no Depeche included) after the jump.

The prestigious Schloßfestspiele Ludwigsburg will dedicate it's closing gala performance to the music of Irmin Schmidt, with a focus on his work for film. A selection of Irmin's work has been arranged for orchestra by Greg Cohen and Eyvind Kang and will be performed by the Orchestra Schloßfestspiele Ludwigsburg and conducted by Irmin Schmidt himself, with special apprearance by solo artists such as Markus Stockhausen (trumpet), Gerd Dudek (saxophone), Christiane Oxenfort (flutes), Ingrid Oberkanins (percussion), Kumo (electronics), Greg Cohen (bass) and Eyvind Kang (viola).

It's my honor to announce that Home's Peter is the proud father of a beautiful baby boy! He was born at 5:24 am and is weighing in at 4170 grams and 54 cm long. Both Mom and baby are doing great and we couldn't be more excited for Peter and his family! Congratulations!!
