Casting Call for new DM video?

If you're a  woman between the ages of 18 and 28 and can pass for a model or a mannequin.. you're in luck, you fit all the criteria to appear in what is being billed as the next Depeche Mode video by a Paris casting agent! It seems the filming will take place over two days in the catacombs of Paris, as well as a few other places, during the first week of August. "We seem to be really clicking right now…."

As the press rolls through for the Soulsavers project, we get more and more of these little glances into whats going on with Depeche in the studio. In a new interview with The Stool Pigeon, Dave again gives us a little snap shot of the current DM world. “I’m working in the studio with my band at the moment, and a lot of the stuff Martin’s written, it’s actually speaking to me” says Dave Gahan. Cinema screenings, Q&A with Recoil

Recoil have announce the first in a series of live screening events for ‘A STRANGE HOUR IN BUDAPEST‘, to be held across several cities in Europe. Plans are still being finalised for exactly what will happen in each city, but we can tell you that as well as full cinema-style presentations of the film with surround sound, Alan Wilder will be attending each venue to host a Q&A session about the ‘Selected Events’ tour and film project. New CNN Interview with Dave Gahan

CNN has a brand new interview up with Dave Gahan that you should check out. An insightful interview where they discuss the new Soulsavers project, but we also get a little glimpse in the studio as Depeche work on their forthcoming record. Dave describes the tone at the moment,  "The songs have a bluesy influence. Obviously, it's not a blues record, but there's definitely some of those influences there. Well look who got together last night! The great Bryan Black of Motor posted up a photo of he with Fletch and Mart last night in New York. Such a great photo, I had to post this up. Great to see them together and just adds to my excitement of Depeche working on a new record.
