The Paris based Crucial Getdown collective has some of their remixes posted on MissingToof.com. Little bits and pieces are trickling through at a steady pace. The Depeche Mode machinery is getting in gear, and we'll try to sift through the information, and give you a summary of what's going on! As we reported way back in July of last year, Depeche Mode are set to return to the studio in early 2008. Well now we know. The band met earlier this month, and agreed to hit the studio in March. Martin's been writing songs, and has already taken his new compositions into pre-production (ie. not just demos), working with Sie Medway-Smith in Martin's home studio in Santa Barbara. It's taken a few weeks, but now we're almost there. Just a few more tweaks here and there, and we're done. Noone's seeing it for another week or so, as we're timing the launch to coincide with a Recoil press release. Hope people like the new site. I suspect some will be bitching about the all white look... I think we've tried that before, which resulted in headaches and sore eyes and stuff. ;) Currently listening to Nephew "Hospital" (Live at Roskilde) (featuring L.O.C.)

Promusicae, a retail newsletter/magazine released by the IFPI members in Spain, is reporting that a new album from Depeche Mode will be released on Nov 25th of this year.
