We're gonna try a new thing out for a while here! To pass the time till the next Mode single drops (March/April of next year) we'll try and post a "Single Of The Week" type thing. Some times it's a free download courtesy of the band; some times you will have to cough up some change to get your hands on the goodies!

German promoter once again let details slip of the upcoming Mode tour. This time in a posting on their official site, where it's casually mentioned that tickets for Depeche Mode's mid-2009 tour should go on sale in October 2008. Read on for more...
Marek Lieberberg, Depeche Mode's concert promoter in Germany, posted today a notice on their official website warning fans against black market tickets being sold at horrendous prices, despite the tour not even having been announced yet. While true, not all that interesting. Far more interesting was the final few lines of the notice:

Anton is once again the responsible party for all things sleeve-ish on the upcoming Mode releases, the tall dutchman confirmed during a recent visit to Italy. Work is already under way, and is inspired by the yet-to-be-released songs. Anton also let slip that he expects to be involved with the design of the stage, but that this is not yet set in stone!
