Permafrost return with a new single Closed Eyes

Back in early March we announced the new single from Permafrost, “Femme Fatale”. Picking up from where they left, they now have just released “Closed Eyes”. Yet another hit single that will ring not only a bell, but an entire orchestra with all fans of goth and post-punk from the 80’s. Frode Heggdal Larsen, Kåre Steinsbu, Robert Heggdal, Trond Tornes, and our old pal Daryl Bamonte managed to channel The Cure, The Mission UK, Siouxsie & the Banshees, The Cult and Bauhaus (to name a few) into a fresh new track that evokes all that glory from those goth and post-punk days.

To keep up with their frozen approach, the video for the self-produced song was filmed in Norway March, this year. Editing duties were up to Mimi Supernova. Paul Corkett mixed it and Lars Årdal cared for the mastering. The single is out on their label Fear of Music and we strongly recommend you subscribe to their Youtube channel, so you don’t miss out on this great work.

Be sure to also check them on Facebook and on Bandcamp. And without further ado, the video for “Closed Eyes”:
