The tracklist for the U2 cover album that Depeche Mode are apart of has been released today with a stellar line up! Are they really calling the cover album "AHK-toong BAY-bi Covered" though? Well, that aside.. the tribute to the 1991 Achtung Baby has been put together by Q Magazine and also features Nine Inch Nails, The Killers, Garbage, Pattie Smith, Snow Patrol, and more. Today U2's Bono announced a forthcoming 'Achtung Baby' Covers Album that features Depeche Mode giving their track "So Cruel" a go. The covers album is a project that was was commissioned by the British music magazine Q and it's to honor the 20th anniversary of Achtung Baby. Bono also revealed that Jack White, Patti Smith and Damian Rice are just some of the names also involved in the project. Read full article and link after the jump!

Depeche Mode's Andy Fletcher has revealed that Depeche have covered a track from U2 that will be coming out, according to the time of the interview, sometime in November. Which track and what it will be used for is not known at the time, but we'll post up any info we get. Fan speculation is that it could perhaps be included as a part of the Achtung Baby reissue, but your guess is as good as mine. Watch the video after the jump!
