Six Toes Treasure Hunt

In an era of bands getting really creative to promote their music, SixToes is doing a Treasure Hunt for their new single "Low Guns" that features vocals from Dave Gahan. What they're doing is leaving copies of the cassette hidden in different countries around the world leading up to the release. I think it's genius myself and just plain fun for the fans. Recently I have seen a few bands use cassettes as a tool to promote a record. In fact, one band just released their entire record on CD & cassette. HOME recommends: SixToes!

Most of our readers should be familiar with the name SixToes, having remixed a couple of Depeche Mode tracks in recent years. But what you might not know is that the London based sextet have an absolutely stunning new video out as a teaser from their forthcoming album. This is definitely a band to keep your eyes on - especially if you're a Depeche Mode fan. SixToes' remix of "Peace" features on the forthcoming "Remixes 2: 81-11", out on Mute on June 6th, with remixes of "Come Back" and "Jezebel" also out.
