Today at the Hublot boutique in Milan it was announce that a limited edition series of watches commemorating all of Depeche Mode's singles will be released to benefit Hublot and Depeche Mode’s charity partner, charity: water. The announcement was made this afternoon by both by Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot watches, and Martin L. Gore. There will be a total of 55 watches, one for each single, which will be produced as unique pieces that are all based on the iconic Hublot Big Bang model. On his monthly "Find, Share, Rewind" radio show for KCRW in Los Angeles, DJ Shadow has paid tribute to Depeche with a DJ set of some of his favorite Mode tracks. Not only is DJ Shadow an official Depeche Mode remixer, he's an innovator who has equally achieved legend status and he's never been shy about expressing his admiration for the band.
