Adding to an already-busy week that saw the official release of Depeche Mode's new album, "Delta Machine" and numerous promotional appearances, the band today premiered the Warren Fu-directed video for what will be the album's second single, "Soothe My Soul."
The sultry video features shadowed and silhouetted footage of David, Martin and Fletch, as well as racy closeups of a female model and her serpentine companion. The black & white video and unusual use of a compressed screen ratio accompanies the song's innuendo-laden lyrics and thumping rhythm.

Depeche Mode will be appearing on ITVs Saturday night chat show The Jonathan Ross Show on March 30th. Jonathan recently revealed on Twitter he's a fan, and that he saw one of their earliest shows back in 1980. The band will be performing and chatting.

Depeche Mode fans were treated today to a surprise debut of the second single from the band's soon-to-be-released ablum, "Delta Machine," on BBC6 Radio's morning show. The uptempo stomper, "Soothe My Soul," was revealed to have a more electronic edge than the rocky performance at this week's "Live On Letterman" streaming concert series would have indicated.

Following on the heels of their panel announcement, Depeche Mode have confirmed their first ever showcase at South by Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival on Friday, March 15th. Presented by Yahoo! the exclusive show will take place at Austin’s Brazos Hall with Depeche Mode scheduled to take the stage at 10pm. The concert will give lucky fans an exclusive preview of the band’s new album, Delta Machine, which is due out on Columbia Records on March 26th. SXSW announced today as a late-breaking addition to the Music Conference, an Q&A interview with Depeche Mode. Dave Gahan, Martin Gore and Andy Fletcher will sit down with KCRW's Jason Bentley to discuss the past, present and future of the band on Wednesday, March 13 at 5:00pm in the Austin Convention Center. The band's North American tour dates are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, as well.
This news comes on the heels of last week's announcement of the streamed concert performance on the "Live On Letterman" web series.
