Over the last few months the great Timothy Saccenti has shared some of the films that he created for Depeche Mode's Delta Machine promotional warm up tour on his Vimeo channel. The "Heaven" video director made ten films in all and has shared the films for songs like "Should Be Higher", "Heaven", "The Child Inside", "Soothe My Soul", and most recently "Walking In My Shoes". Live Nation has put together a great promo video to promote the Delta Machine Tour. Besides shots of the band playing live, it has some great clips of fans praising the band. Some fans seeing them again, some expressing how excited they are seeing Depeche for the first time. Fans describing them as everything from "the forefathers of electronica" to "there's only one Dave!". It's a short clip, but well worth your time. See it after the jump!

The North American leg of the Delta Machine Tour kicks off tonight in Detroit and what better way to get things going then for the band to release the world premiere of the "Should Be Higher" video! A live version of the song with possibly one of the best backing screen videos ever. Just amazing! We'll be doing a live relay of tonight's show in the tour section on our forum, so be sure to join in on the fun.

As the band gears up to take on North America, we start seeing some of the press starting to come in. It's was really nice to get a note from Matt Fretton letting us know that he is returning to making music! www.mattfretton.com is his new site and it's a blog documenting the recording of his new album.
