The video for "Low Guns" from SixToes that features guest vocals from Depeche Mode front man Dave Gahan premiered today via the website Stereogum. An interesting video that really complements the song well, so be sure to check it out. The “Low Guns” single is out 11/18, with The Morning After LP from SixToes will see it's release in early 2014.

Billboard has released it's "Hot Tours Ranking" and Depeche Mode's recent trek through North America was extremely successful. While it seems a tad obnoxious to release the earnings on some level, it's really interesting to see at the same time. Coming in behind Depeche were names like Michael Bublé, Iron Maiden, and more. As the band wraps up a highly successful North American leg of their Delta Machine Tour tonight, all eyes are looking towards the winter as the ship heads towards it's third leg that will see the band gigging all the way into March. I'm sure more details will start coming up through the next few weeks, but some support names we're seeing confirmed so far are Nadine Shah, Big Deal, and The Soft Moon. All interesting bands in their own and should set a good tone for warming up the night for Depeche. I'm personally excited to see that The Soft Moon will be supporting as I am a fan of his/theirs and the label...

In an era of bands getting really creative to promote their music, SixToes is doing a Treasure Hunt for their new single "Low Guns" that features vocals from Dave Gahan. What they're doing is leaving copies of the cassette hidden in different countries around the world leading up to the release. I think it's genius myself and just plain fun for the fans. Recently I have seen a few bands use cassettes as a tool to promote a record. In fact, one band just released their entire record on CD & cassette.
