The world's best selling basketball video game franchise is teaming up with Pharrell Williams to put together a soundtrack for the forthcoming edition of the game that will include "Personal Jesus" from Depeche Mode. Opien posted up a new edit of a video they recorded last year in Berlin today via their Facebook page. The edit is for the video for "Lie" that features Christian Eigner and Peter Gordeno. Opien gave a big Thank You to "the amazing Danny Drysdale for delivering these great shots in less than 3 hours!" and then they went on to call Danny a "Champ" for getting this done so quickly. The great Peter Kruder of Kruder & Dorfmeister fame (as well as Peace Orchestra and Voom Voom of course) posted two cool videos on his Instagram today that I wanted to share with everyone. Looks like Peter has enlisted long time Depeche Mode/Dave Gahan collaborator Christian Eigner for some drums in the studio. At the moment I'm not sure what project they are working on, but hoping to get more information on it soon. The Delta Machine remixes EP from Boysnoize Records is out now as an exclusive to Beatport! You've heard the preview of the mixes on Soundcloud via Stereogum and i-D, but now you can buy them for your collection. There was some speculation on what this project was or could be, but it's a two tracker with remixes of "My Little Universe" from Boys Noize and Djedjotronic's take on "Alone". No info just yet on the Sante' remix for "My Little Universe" that premiered via Clash Music, but we'll let you know if we hear anything. 17 days after the announcement of Djedotronic remixing DM's Alone, i-D premieres his remix on Soundcloud today. The remix has a slightly more minimal rhythm, while still maintaining the brooding darkness from the original. As Djedotronic says on his Facebook page, "The main idea with this remix was to play with the contrast between intimate melody and claustrophobic rhythm. It's my attempt to translate the duality of feelings that is present in the original song." Sounds like a successful job to me!
