French RTL2 radio host Francis Zégut posted a short but interesting question on his blog, which, even if you don't speak French, you can still understand:
"Dave Gahan en solo, Paris La Cigale en novembre ?"
Normally we don't pay attention to such rumours, but it just so happens that Zégut also announced the Depeche Mode gigs in Paris in 2009 and 2013 about a month before they were officially announced. RTL2 tweeted the info about an upcoming gig at La Cigale too, but they are stating that it's Depeche Mode who is going to perform.
Hmm, I doubt that. But if a Soulsavers gig at that...

About two weeks ago, restaurant and music club SoHo in Santa Barbara announced a small event which will include a DJ set by Martin Gore, titled "SOhO's 20th Anniversary Fundraising Show Series". It does not actually say what the fundraiser is for, but it seems that the music club needs a new stage. Martin has already stood on that stage last month, when he joined his son and daughter for a short, private performance in front of his son's classmates and their parents, organised by their school.

A brand new remix for Martin L. Gore's MG project was announced today and you need to check it out! If you remember Martin's BBC Radio 1 interview with Heidi back in late March, he talked about his appreciation for Andy Stott's work. In fact, the first song on his guest mix for her show was from Andy Stott. In their conversation Martin mentioned his love his album, "Faith In Strangers", and it looks like it lead to him remixing "Europa Hymn". And what a remix it is! Check it out below.
