DM add historic 4th Hollywood Bowl show!

Depeche Mode announced this morning that they have added a record-breaking fourth night at the Hollywood Bowl! The show is on Oct. 18 and tickets go on sale Friday, April 28 at 10 a.m. Depeche Mode had sold out three Hollywood Bowl shows in August, 2009, during the Tour of the Universe, tying them with previous record-holders Coldplay, Roger Waters, The Cure, Billy Joel, Carole King & James Taylor, and The Eagles. Depeche Mode announce a “special thank you show” in Hollywood – sweepstakes entry open now

Depeche Mode has announced what's being billed as a "special thank you show" in Hollywood, California on Wednesday, April 26th.  Sweepstakes entries for the show are being accepted now at http://la.depechemode.com/, with only 50 winners + guests.  The band is in the midst of a slew of promotion in Southern California for the upcoming Global Spirit Tour, kicking off on May 5th in Stockholm, Sweden.  Their promo events include a mysterious invite-only fan event in Hollywood on Friday, April 21st, and an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Cordon on CBS on Monday, April 24th.  But...

DM to perform on James Corden April 24th

While we haven't got the official confirmation from the band, headlineplanet.com are reporting that they received confirmation from CBS that Depeche Mode will be performing live on The Late Late Show With James Corden on Aparil 24th. Of course we're all thinking, perhaps hoping, they will be doing carpool karaoke with James, but it could also just be a performance as well. That site are also reporting that Jason Schwartzman, Nicole Richie, and Geoffrey Rush will be appearing on the show on that date as well. Warpaint to support Depeche Mode in North America

Rough Trade act Warpaint will be supporting Depeche Mode on the North American leg of the Global Spirit tour, kicking off August 23rd in Salt Lake City, UT and running through October 27th in Edmonton, AB, Canada. New Sire Box Set feat. Depeche Mode

Depeche Mode will be included on a new 4 LP, limited edition, numbered box set that celebrates the 50th anniversary of the legendary and influential Sire Records label, co-founded in 1967 by Seymour Stein.
