The first single to be pulled from Dave Gahan's forthcoming solo record is "Kingdom".More details after the jump.Gahan has picked the song called "Kingdom" to be the first single of his forthcoming album, "Hourglass". Radio broadcast should begin August 27th, with simultaneous premiere of the music video.
Despite what some are saying, Axwell is, according to his manager, not responsible for any of the remixes for the single.

Talking to fans, Andrew Fletcher gave a few more details than had previously slipped about the future of Mode, reports the good people over at DepMod.comAccording to DepMod.com, Fletch has mentioned hearing 9 tracks, of which 7 were complete with vocals, and another two were instrumentals. The songs, he said, is a departure from the material found on "Playing The Angel" and "Exciter".He also talked about Dave's current lack of plans for a tour, letting it be known that Dave is still as of yet not sure, and that if Dave does indeed to tour, the studio work for Mode might be pushed from February...

The band are likely to start recording sooner than expected, with a new album possibly out as soon as late next year.With an upcoming solo record firmly in the bag, and due out in October, Dave Gahan is not resting on his laurels for long it seems.
