Shunt – Version 3.0
Finally, we are proud to announce that the new Recoil website has gone on-line. By popular demand, Shunt has decided to revert back to a mainly Html site while still retaining some Flash elements. This allows viewers more flexibility. Thanks almost entirely to Oliver Thiede, this new version is virtually complete and will be regularly updated with many new features.
We hope you’ll agree that the design is much more comprehensive and allows more interactivity as well as access to archive material from Shunt (version 1.0). Recoil also has a thriving interactive Myspace and Facebook presence.
editorials
A series of old favourites and new editorials have been included and updated. In particular, you can read about the making of ‘subHuman’ which includes photos from the recording sessions in Texas amongst other things. Go to ‘evidence’ / editorials.
discography
Now included, as well as the entire Recoil catalogue, Shunt also have a section displaying all DM album releases which include Alan, and a section displaying outside productions and remixes. ‘discography’ includes album art, audio samples, lyrics, credits and video links.
Q&A section
Shunt now has available the original and comprehensive Q&A sessions which Alan undertook for Shunt version 1.0. You can find pretty much anything you need to know at ‘evidence’ / Q&A Vault. There are many categories as well as a search engine. Please note this is an archive and not an active forum at this time.

Also now available – the Official Recoil Message Board. This is a discussion forum and can be found under ‘connections’/forum. Please register and start your own chats or join in with existing threads.

New Recoil film
‘Recoil in Prague ’07’
Now uploaded in ‘film’ you can find a new film produced, directed and edited by Igor Dvorsky. This is an in-depth account of Alan’s visit to Prague at the end of summer last year when he attended a release party at The Retro Club. Igor and his team followed Alan from the moment of his arrival at the airport to the moment of departure. Footage includes radio interviews, press conferences, meeting fans at the hotel and of course the event itself. It also acts as a kind of EPK for the ‘subHuman’ album. It’s atmospheric and lovingly edited and Shunt would like to congratulate Igor and thank him for his work on the project.
