Thomas White of Natural Rhythm has a new side project!

I am a massive fan of Natural Rhythm and have been a fan for years. Natural Rhythm is one of the most creative and forward thinking house music producers ever and have released high quality tracks on every imaginable house music label out there. NR always push the boundaries of what house music (and electronic music for that matter) can be and now Thomas White (a.k.a. Natural Rhythm) is doing it again under the name of Divide By Odd.

This new indie side project is a lot different to what people might know coming from the mind behind Natural Rhythm, but I think the music is really interesting and you might want to check it out.

While the sound has an indie feel, you can’t help but hear so much in it. From the “Man Machine” meets “Architecture & Morality” vibe of “4 Voice Melody” and “Space Groove” to the electronic shoe gaze vibe of “I Want You” ( a nod to Caberet Voltaire? I don’t know), the potential for some amazing music is there. With influences ranging from Depeche Mode, The Radio Dept, and Slowdive …. you know there is only good things that can come from it. I think people will really like the track “Where You Belong” though. Laid back and bouncy at the same time.
