Last seen in Australia at the 25,000 person NYE Millennium event in Melbourne, Jimmy Van M returns in October for a full national tour in support of his brand new mix compilation for the globally renowned Balance series from EQ/Stomp.
Balance celebrates its milestone tenth release with Jimmy Van M’s epic three disc journey through two decades of electronic music, where legends like Brian Eno, Bill Laswell, Depeche Mode, Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada and Thievery Corporation cosy up alongside today’s finest dance artists including Michael Mayer, Ellen Allien, LCD Soundsystem, Trentemoller, Booka Shade and Oliver Lieb.
“Balance 10” will be Jimmy Van M’s first mix compilation since his Bedrock double CD back in 2001. He joins Paolo Mojo, Desyn Masiello and Chris Fortier as recent Balance picks. “Balance 10” will be released on EQ/Stomp on October 30th, 2006.
