Martin Gore has hand-selected a list of 10 essential tracks for leading electronic music download site, Beatport. The content of the list reflects Martin's affinity for minimal and techno, which has also been on full display before each of Depeche Mode's shows on the last several tours or in Gore's intimate DJ sets. The list includes tracks from Hobo, Wade Bennet and Benny Knox, among others.

As most of you probably know by now, Alan Wilder is readying his latest addition to the Recoil project - the album "Selected". We're very pleased to be able to reveal the artwork and the tracklist (below). "Selected" consists of tracks handpicked, slightly tweaked and lovingly remastered and by the man himself. Just in time for Nitzer Ebb to kick off their European tour (Friday as headliner in Hamburg, Saturday as support for Depeche Mode in Berlin), Mute is releasing two box sets celebrating the band's history. Also in the works: A digital download album comprising of remixes, b-sides, rarities and more… 60 tracks in total!
Nitzer Ebb is an integral part of Depeche Mode and Mute lore. The band grew out of the early 80s industrial movement, and took not only Depeche Mode themselves, but also their fan base by storm. Ebb supported Depeche Mode as far back as 1987, and are now ready to do it again....

Tonight, Alan Wilder announces that he is on track to release a new album titled "Selected", and will embark on the first ever tour with the Recoil project to support the album. "Selected" is Alan's personal best of-Recoil compilation, which will also be released as a double CD package featuring a selection of b-sides and remixes, some of which have never been released before.
