Planet Sound: More UK dates to come
UK fans will be happy to learn that the single UK date thus far announced for Tour Of The Universe, won’t be the only UK gig on the tour. During the band’s current promo stint, Dave Gahan spoke to Planet Sound, revealing that more dates are indeed in the pipeline – but no UK summer festivals. More after the break…
Exclusive: No Mode fests
Depeche Mode won’t play any UK festivals this year, PS can reveal.“We were looking at Glastonbury,” Dave Gahan told PS. “We just couldn’t fit it in among the dates we’d already booked – it would have meant moving shows around, and it became impractical.”
The band have only one UK gig announced so far, but Gahan added: “There’s definitely more to come for the new record. Watch this space.”

If you look back in previous posts I did say this, so to all those having a go and critising about them only doing one show. Chill..it's good news my friends..I'm excited anyway,esp if they do manchester..woo hoo..the behemoth band wagon is now rolling...

Right matt.The tour venues we know so far doesn't represent the definitive world tour schedule.These people who complained about the only one UK show were dead wrong!They should know DM always have at least 2 legs in a world tour.So,STOP COMPLAINING NOW! Or i'll call Chuck Norris :°)
