Post-press release press re-cap

(Try saying that three times really fast… aaaanyway) In the wake of yesterday’s press release, media around the world have been picking up the story. Now most of them just reiterate what was already in the press release, so we’ll skip those, and just focus on the ones who has had a chance to talk to the band, or for some other reason, has some new details for us.

The best of the bunch was definitely Reuters/Billboard’s, which features a few nice quotes from Fletch. Notably he mentions the inclusion of “extra tracks” on the deluxe edition, raising hopes this edition will be one of the initial formats released. Nice!

IGN‘s wee piece get’s a shout out simply because they – perhaps not knowing it was of interest to anyone – mentioned that the record will be released in the US on the Capitol label (part of EMI).
