Yazoo featuring Andy Fletcher

Yeah, yeah... so this release is actually a whole month old (gasp)... but dammit, here at HOME we've been enjoying the first three discs of the Yazoo box set "In Your Room" so much, that we only got around to checking the enclosed DVD. The DVD includes a "Short Film", akin to the ones we know and love from Depeche's recent remasters. And amongst the talking heads... Depeche's Andy Fletcher! Gareth Jones

Long time Depeche Mode collaborator and friend, Gareth Jones, is having some health issues. Gareth has be diagnosed with some minor cancer and is taking some time off from his work to focus on treatment and healing. His prognosis is very good we are happy to hear and we wish him a speedy recovery. Gareth has a blog documenting his journey where you can follow along with him as he goes through his treatment. Horse, Horse, Tiger, Tiger…. sorry

Wow, I just had to share this with the DM world and give an open apology from this American fan. Sorry everyone. So  Horse, Horse, Tiger, Tiger is a band of American college students living in Beijing and they have launched a song to celebrate the Beijing Olympic Games countdown. That song? Rose Bowl 20th Anniversary

Today marks the 20th anniversary of the legendary Rose Bowl gig in Pasadena, CA. As we all reflect on this monumental Depeche Mode landmark, let's also look forward to a bright future! As I sit here and write down my thoughts on this milestone in DM history I find myself conflicted between the sappy notion of their uphill battle for respect to the idea that they are still around, relevant, and in the studio recording a new record now. Kingdom on new Lost Boys soundtrack

Dave Gahan's Kingdom will be featured on the upcoming soundtrack to the new Lost Boys sequel called "Lost Boys - The Tribe" The original 1987 soundtrack to the film Lost Boys has become a piece of 80s pop culture history, and it ushered in a new wave of rocking soundtracks that turned movie music into a genre and marketing niche all it's own. It is right up there with the soundtracks to Footlose, Top Gun, and Dirty Dancing.
