Ten tracks currently rocking my world!

Righty! It’s been a while since I’ve been blawging so I thought I’d throw a couple of musical thoughts up on here!

And what better way to get something up than share my latest iPod playlist with you guys!?

Anyway, here goes:

GOLDFRAPP A&E Hercules & Love Affair Remix

The original version is charming enough on it’s own, but this delightfully quirky remix just keeps blowing me away. Luv it!!

ROISIN MURPHY Overpowered

The Moloko-chick doing her solo thing. This is an absolute stand out track on an otherwise disappointing album.

BLUE FOUNDATION As I Moved On Run Jeremy Band’s 12″ Pleasure Mix

One of my favourite Blue Foundation tracks remixed by Trentemøller & co. I’d not heard (of) this mix till it was featured on the recent Trentemøller Chronicles compilation. Good stuff!

KAP10KURT Dangerseekers Edit

Ooooh… good stuff! If you don’t know Kap10kurt yet, then hit Google, you philistine! And be sure to check out the fab video for this track. It’s what that Transformers flick wanted to be!!! And then some!

GUSTAV We Shall Overcome Wighnomys Okkasion Re(h)and

I have no idea who Gustav is. Never heard of him, except for this track which was included on a Wighnomy Bros 12″. It’s absolutely superb, and have been a fixed feature on my iPod for something like a year now!

HERCULES & LOVE AFFAIR Time Will

First track off the self-titled debut album. Really nice track. Sort of Peach (not to be confused with Peaches) meets Barry Adamson.

KASPER BJØRKE Wombats

Denmark reprasent!!! Another standout track from a unfairly overlooked album. Do yourself a favour and check it out!

TINY MASTER OF TODAY Hey Mr DJ CSS Remix

Tiny Masters… is pretty noisy to begin with, and with a CSS twist, it’s just pure electro heaven! Catchy as hell this!

DAVE GAHAN Love Will Leave K10K Remix

Why this song was re-allocated to a b-side I must say I don’t get. Great vocals! And one of the best remixes from the Hourglass releases.

BJÖRK Earth Intruders Lexx Remix Edit

Great track, great remix! Not to be missed!

Peter
