Future Retro will finally see the light of day

Future Retro, a remix record putting a modern spin on classic 80s tunes, will finally see the light of day after having been pushed back several times. The album includes a remix by Tiga of Depeche’s “Shake The Disease”.

Looks like the remix collection that features Tiga’s new remix of Depeche Mode’s 1985 classic single “Shake The Disease” will finally see its release. [b]Future Retro[/b] is a collection of brand new remixes of classic alternative music hits remixed by some of today’s biggest club DJs and producers. This project was pushed back from last year and is now coming out on Rhino Records on Tuesday, January 24th.

Aside from Depeche Mode, Future Retro will feature Richard X’s remix of Yaz’s Classic “Situation”, Way Out West’s remix of Echo & The Bunnymen’s “Lips Like Sugar” and Sparks remixing Morrissey’s “Suedehead”. Other bands like Erasure, New Order, B-Movie, Howard Jones, and The Cure get some of their classic hits remixed as well.
